Over the next few weeks, Hilfiger will be embarking on these global travels with the acclaimed author of 'The Preppy Handbook' and 'True Prep', Lisa Birnabach. Having started in Paris last week, the tour featured a pop-up house which was erected outside Georges Pompidou Museum, designed in the style of a Hamptons beach house and literally built from scratch. On May 6, it will be relocated to the East Piazza in Covent Garden, London, and will be there for ten days before it goes onto its next destination. A limited edition Prep World collection will be sold there, including coloured chinos, anchor print dresses and boat shoes, as well as a range of preppy paraphernalia like 'PrepGammon'... and croquet sets of course!
