Here, she shares her choice for Product of the Week – a weekly round-up of the Dazed Beauty team and wider community’s must-have buys. WHAT IS IT? Brand: Juvia’s Place Product: Warrior 3 eyeshadow palette Price : £7.50 Juvia’s Place WHY SHOULD I CARE? I was first introduced to Juvia’s Place through a search for some of the best eyeshadow pigments on the market. I’ve consistently used the brand for four years since I discovered it to create my daily juicy beat and digital portraits. From eyes and nose to areoles, this product works ebay when dusted or pressed anywhere atop your favourite sticky base. I promise that nothing else compares to the quality and accessible price, which is one of my favourite aspects of the brand. For novice and professional artists, this brand is affordable and ensures excellent results. Furthermore, Juvia’s Place is a Black-owned business, meaning they always create products that are inclusive and centralise shades of all complexions. QUICKFIRE QUESTIONS If I could go back in time and give this product to anybody it would be... the deities of Egypt. I would want to paint my labia with Nefertiti as we float down the Nile. Or I would give it to Jean-Michel Basquiat as a gift with a note attached inviting him to my hotel to paint me like a transsexual demon. If I had to describe this palette to an alien… I would stare into their eyes blankly, like Marina Abramović, until we began to cry in unison and have a sleepover inside Uranus. If this product was a body organ it would be… a fallopian tube because it, metaphorically, carries my fertilised eggs from my ovaries to my uterus. Escape the algorithm!
