Besides names like Hunter Schafer, Zendaya, Barbie Ferreira, and Alexa Demie, the real breakout of the show was make-up artist Donni Davy, who captured the show’s audience with her eclectic mix of OTT glam looks. Since then, the looks have inspired Instagram filters and shows at NYFW and are now appearing again on TikTok. The #EuphoriaChallenge sees users peering into the camera soundtracked to Labrinth’s “Still Don't Know My Name” from the show, before dropping back on to their bed – à la the show’s Rue – and transforming into their recreation of one of Davy’s looks. There are so many to choose from, whether it’s Rue’s glitter tears, Jules’s spiky Face Lace look, and let’s not forget every single time Maddy wore rhinestones. Need inspiration? Look no further than Davy’s IG account where she shows behind-the-scenes close-ups of almost all of the looks created. With parties or any other excuse to get dressed up seemingly off limits for the foreseeable future, why not partake in the #EuphoriaChallenge and cover your face in rhinestones? It’ll certainly help pass the time until season two drops. See some of our favourites below. Escape the algorithm!
