Though masters of different games, Team Oakley athletes Kylian Mbappé and Jaylen Brown have more in common than you might think. Both are considered forces in their respective fields – Mbappé is regarded as one of the world’s top footballers, and Brown is a five-time NBA all-star. Today, it was announced that both athletes are joining forces with the brand to release new signature eyewear and apparel.

The team-up is the latest version of Oakley’s Players Collection, which, since 2024, has been partnering with top athletes to merge the worlds of sport and fashion. Brown’s head-to-toe collection covers all bases across eyewear and sportswear, available in an exclusive new cocoa brown palette. First, there’s the Oakley Highland Jaylen Brown Signature Series frame, which features Oakley’s Prizm™ Ruby Lenses. Clothing-wise, the collection includes everything from parkas and pants to caps and utility bags, all designed in collaboration with Brown and made to be worn in the outdoors just as easily as they can be sported on the streets. The styles take their inspiration from Oakley’s Latitude and Reserve collections. 

As for Mbappé’s designs, the player’s eyewear carries nods to his identity and upbringing. The Permian Kylian Mbappé Signature Series frame features Oakley’s Prizm™ Road Lenses. Mbappé’s logo is embedded on the lens, while the coordinates of Bondy, the Paris suburb where he was raised, are inscribed on the frame’s temple. “Style is a signature,” said Mbappé in a press release from the brand. “These glasses are more than an accessory – they carry my roots, reflect my journey, and define how I move forward.”

As Oakley partners, the Real Madrid striker and Boston Celtics guard-forward collaborated to infuse their style into the new Oakley designs.
