Fans of Wes Anderson have been eagerly awaiting news around his latest film, The French Dispatch – boasting a star-studded cast featuring the likes of Saoirse Ronan, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, and (the reason you’re all here) Timothée Chalamet.

While you can find out the full story of the trailer and film here, we’re going to skip to the important part, what resplendent hairstyle the internet’s King and our boyfriend, Timmy, is sporting. Except, rather than a fuckboy bowl cut or windswept mane, the haircut looks like it was created as a homage to Jack Nance in Eraserhead or the Bride of Frankenstein – though, without the very on-trend Mallen streak. 

Anderson why have you forsaken us?! What is Samson without his luscious locks? However, while we don’t have hair to fantasise running our hands through, we do get a gratuitous shot of him in a bath – thankfully with the oversized bush hidden away underneath a head towel wrap. 

However, nobody is perfect and perhaps this is just the sign we need that even our Chalabae can have a bad hair day. At least we’ve still got his upcoming appearance in the Bob Dylan biopic for a guaranteed magnificent mane...
