But sometimes, the Street View camera wanders past mirrors or reflective surfaces, snapping pictures of itself along the way and uploading them onto Google. Barcelona-based artist Mario Santamaria has collected all these accidental selfies for a Tumblr page called The Camera in the Mirror. Santamaria's curated images project a whole new anthropomorphised life onto the camera – the stills look strangely life-like, with the Google Camera cutting a lonely, spindly figure in beautiful and seemingly deserted galleries.
