Frieze Insider Access: LuckyPDF

Even after last night's LuckyPDF / DIS Magazine party, the art collective is still able to give us the lowdown on today's Frieze highlights

Dazed Digital: Have you seen anything good so far?
LuckyPDF:
Cécile B. Evans' audio guide (and holograms) is really fantastic, everyone should take the free audio tour before the fair ends on Sunday to get a different insight into the works on show. The strong Frieze Projects, curated by Sarah McCrory, this year are definitely worth extra time, in particular Grizedale & Yangjiang Group, Joanna Rajkowska and Asli Cavusoglu as they really add something really special to a visit to the fair. Also the work produced at the fair, but viewable online, by DIS magazine is worth a look even if you don't make it as it really unpicks the fair experience in a fascinating way.

Ed Fornieles booth at CARLOS/ISHIKAWA is definitely worth a visit and the place to be / go dating at the fair this year. In general the galleries in focus and frame seem to be showing the freshest and most interesting work at the fair including amazing works by Elisabeth Price at MOT and Josh Kline at 47 Canal. While the main selection of galleries also has some gems including Wilkinson's amazing booth this year with works by Harm van den Dorpel and Juliette Bonneviot.

But Frieze is all about exploring, there's too many things to mention. Finally the Frieze Film program, particularly films by Jimmy Merris, John Smith and Bertrand Dezoteux, is amazing this year and a great way to take a break from the fair.

DD: What else are you looking forward to?
LuckyPDF:
A proper day spent at Sunday Art Fair just down the road who have some amazing galleries and artists showing this year, oh and Frieze week being over and getting back to normality, and back to working on new projects. But mainly also having time to see shows that've opened recently such as Eddie Peake/Prem Sahib at Southard Reid and Peter Fischli / David Weiss at Sprüth Magers.

DD: Best place for food at Frieze?
LuckyPDF:
The exhibitors lounge does the best (free) coffee (for exhibitors), worth sneaking in - just don't skip any caffeine deprived gallerists in the queue!

DD: Any good parties coming up?
LuckyPDF:
The Frieze Projects party at SPACE Studios looks like it'll be amazing tonight, But other than that Frieze week parties have mostly been rounded off unfortunately, everyone seems far too burnt out already especially by last night.
