Rifke Sadleir is a London-based coder, web designer and creative technologist. She is one half of DXR Zone, an art direction and development agency who design and code interactive online experiences and websites. Sadleir has worked with the likes of Chopowa Lowena and in-house at Our Place Studio, and was the creative behind Dazed Beauty’s 2019 Digital Spa quizzes.
Originally studying illustration and graphic design, Sadleir was drawn to the interactive nature of coding and web development and the possibility of creating many different outcomes – though her design background remains obvious in her fluid, visually arresting signature style and her creative approach to building online spaces.
Sadleir has also worked with photographer J.P. Bonino, illustrator and poet Anna Haifisch and multidisciplinary creative Max Siedentopf to create an interactive 3D site for It’s Nice That and Dropbox Paper. Sadleir also runs online radio station imissmymates, which enables people to stream shows live from their own computers and homes.
