Oslo Grace is the trans non-binary model making waves in fashion with their unique, androgynous look

As one of AW18’s breakout models, Cali-born, New York-based BMG signing Oslo Grace had some pretty big moments during the season’s shows – but there’s two that stand out as massive. In January, they (quite literally) joined Drag Race winner Violet Chachki on Jeremy Scott’s catwalk, as the pair closed the Moschino show in slinky tuxedo suits that were attached at the tails. The show was an out-and-out kink-fest which explored sexuality and championed and celebrated the international LGBTQ+ community, while the collection itself continued to blur the ever-less-distinct line between genders, making Grace – who identifies as transgender non-binary – a no-brainer inclusion.

Just a month later, Grace made another major Milan appearance, as part of Alessandro Michele’s fantastical AW18 show. Having walked as an exclusive for SS18, this time around they were impossible to miss (even among the Italian designer’s huge line-up) thanks to being tasked with carrying the baby dragon that basically broke Instagram.

With appearances at Balenciaga, Hermès, and Jil Sander – across both menswear and womenswear shows – and a forthcoming major campaign now under their belt, Grace is setting both sides of the industry on fire. More importantly, they’re proving it’s time we stopped thinking about fashion as a matter of M/F altogether.
