Renowned art book publishers Rizzoli have now given Kim Kardashian their stamp of approval with the announcement that they will publish a photography book of her selfies. "Widely regarded as a trailblazer of 'selfie movement' – a modern-day self-portrait of the digital age – Kim has mastered the art of taking flattering and highly personal photos of oneself," Rizzoli says, hailing Kardashian as "a true American icon" and "the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe". In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim explains that she came up with the idea for a "selfie book" while compiling a book of sexy Polaroids for husband Kanye West. "It ended up turning out so cool that we come up with this idea to do a book, a selfie book," she said. "And so, I’m going to make some super-racy. I mean every girl takes full pictures of their ass in the mirror... I might share some of them." The 352-page hardcover book will be published in April 2015 at the relatively low price of $19.95.
