Block9 is without a doubt Glastonbury’s hottest party spot, a vast cityscape within the festival featuring legendary stages and venues like Genosys, IICON and NYC Downlow (which is considered one of the world’s best gay clubs, despite only existing for five days a year). Created over a decade ago by designers Gideon Berger and Stephen Gallagher, the area is as celebrated for its immersive installations (NYC Downlow is a 1970s Manhattan fantasy straight out of Cruising) as it is for the music.

This year, we sent drag artist and performer A Man to Pet down to Block9 to ask its revellers (including Harry Styles) the most important questions: what is their festival survival kit? Where will they be at 3am? And are they really homosexual enough to be queuing up for Downlow?
