Not only have we seen a heartfelt ode to Puerto Rican music from the ‘king of Latin trap’ and former Dazed cover star Bad Bunny, but we’ve also seen UK ambassador (and another former cover star) Central Cee drop his much-awaited debut album, Can’t Rush Greatness, and Walthamstow’s Rose Gray bring Spring Break to East London with new album Louder, Please. Elsewhere, everyone seems to be shaking off the Winter blues with some good, old-fashioned raving. FKA twigs has turned the world horny with Eusexua, production duo God Colony reinvent club sonics once more with rave-drill crossover track “GNASHER” featuring PS Hitsquad, and Mechatok and Joy Orbison have both dropped dancefloor bangers. Meanwhile, cyberfolk trailblazer Clara Kimera bridges the digital and physical realms with debut EP Dial 8 – a fusion that is matched by Sasami and Clairo’s “In Love With A Memory”. Rounding things off, Korean-American model Soo Joo announces her foray into music with the ethereal “Take It Off”, and Lancey Foux proves once more that his unique blend of jerk, rage and cloud rap is set to be the definitive sound of the UK underground in 2025.
