Now, the plot thickens as Del Rey has left a comment on Billie’s latest X post, saying “We had fun in the studio”, suggesting there might be a new track on the way. Eilish has been a long time Lana fan, even declaring on stage at Coachella that she’s “the reason for half of you bitches’ existence, including mine”. When the two spoke for Interview magazine last year, she told her, “You really paved the way for everyone. People have been trying to look and sound like you since you first started. I talk about this with Finneas. You changed the way the music industry hears and sees music, and you changed the way people sing.” Meanwhile, Del Rey called Eilish “the voice of a generation” on stage. Given Eilish’s upcoming third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which will be released May 17, perhaps this was what Lana was hinting at?
