The Brooklyn-based musician, real name Harrison Patrick Smith, blew up last year with his single “Girls”, a contagious electro-clash clanger that celebrated girls everywhere, with lyrics like: “I like the girls who do drugs/Girls with cigarettes, in the back of the club/ Girls that hate cops and buy guns.” Since then, he’s released an EP – The Sex EP – and taken his weekly Frequencies party global, most recently on his European tour – his first as a solo artist. His staple shirt-and-tie look was even captured by Hedi Slimane before he DJ’ed the Celine fashion show in LA last December. Now completing the London leg of his tour, we sent Daisy Davidson, AKA Hysteric Fashion, to capture the offbeat style of fans at his Corsica Studios show. Take a look in the gallery above.
