Luckily for us, we’re now getting a whole book of photographs published by Homer, with Ocean himself behind the camera. Announced via an Instagram post that is – as per usual – light on specific details, the book is titled Mutations, and is already available to add to your cart on the Homer website. Eagle-eyed fans will already have glimpsed some of the featured images from its 48, saddle-stitched pages on the brand’s Insta grid over the course of the last year. Flicking through the web preview reveals more of what we can expect, ranging from grainy product shots, to photos of Frank in his bowl cut wig, and portraits that see the face eerily obscured by the mask of the pea-green robobaby that the musician clutched to his hip at the 2021 Met Gala. Is Mutations the new album that we were (kind of) promised during Frank Ocean’s headline Coachella set earlier this year? No. Will it take us back in time, to an alternate reality where he appears at the festival’s second weekend? Also no. But right now, it’s all we’ve got, and at £76, it might be our only chance to bag an object that bears the Homer logo. Just please make sure that you’re forking out your cash to a legitimate source, and not getting scammed. Take a closer look at Frank Ocean’s Mutations here.
