Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is out March 2023
Sad girls rejoice: Lana Del Rey has announced a new album for 2023.
The album’s title, Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, is firmly in the tradition of Brand Lana, with the name possibly taking inspiration from the 1974 Eric Clapton album 461 Ocean Boulevard.

The announcement is accompanied by the record’s title track, nearly five minutes in length and featuring such Lana-isms as, “Fuck me to death/Love me until I love myself”.
For the album, patron saint of pop girl production Jack Antonoff returns as a producer, alongside Mike Hermosa, Drew Erickson, Zach Dawes and Benji. Featured artists include Tommy Genesis, Father John Misty, Judah Smith, Bleachers, Jon Batiste and SYML.
Ocean Blvd’s lead single arrives less than two months after Del Rey’s appearance on Taylor Swift’s ‘Snow on the Beach’, from her tenth studio album Midnights. The collaboration was mocked online due to Del Rey’s spectral presence on the track, contributing very little vocals to the final song.
Earlier in 2022, Del Rey released ‘Watercolor Eyes’ for the soundtrack of HBO’s teen drama Euphoria. This followed an extremely prolific 2021, where the singer released two full-length studio albums, Chemtrails Over the Country Club and Blue Bannisters.
Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is due for release on March 10, 2023.
