In a new post, the singer has revealed the record’s cover artwork, which shows her lounging in a yellow dress between two Alsatians. “TBD,” she wrote in the caption. In another post, Del Rey shared a snippet of an upcoming single, singing over slow piano chords: “My body is a map of LA / I stand straight like an angel / With a halo.” She also added a vague update on the record’s full release date. “Album out later later...” she said. “Single out soonish.” Blue Banisters was initially announced just after the release of Lana Del Rey’s latest album, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, which arrived in March this year. At the time, she suggested that the follow-up would arrive on July 4, though that date appears to have been pushed back.
