Aptly titled Our Extended Play, the record is written and produced in collaboration with Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975. The four-track project also arrives alongside the video for another new single, titled “Cologne” (watch below). The singer-songwriter, and Dazed 100 alum, has described Our Extended Play as “a bridge” between her debut album, Fake It Flowers, and its future follow-up. “I can’t wait to share more music with you,” she writes on Instagram. Beabadoobee also describes recording the EP alongside The 1975, her Dirty Hit label-mates. “We spent a lovely time living on a studio farm,” she says, “and I can honestly say it was one of the most wholesome moments of life.” Released in 2020, Fake It Flowers earned a spot among Dazed’s favourite albums of the year. 2020 also saw Beabadoobee share songwriting tips with fans as part of a Dazed 100 songwriting workshop, alongside fellow Dazed 100er Joy Crookes, and Pretty Sick’s Sabrina Fuentes.
