The new single is set to arrive on January 11. Del Rey also announces in the Instagram post that Chemtrails Over the Country Club will be available for preorder on the same day, following multiple delays because of coronavirus. The record is the follow-up to 2019’s Norman Fucking Rockwell!, though the musician has also released a Jack Antonoff-produced poetry album, Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, in the meantime. Last month, Del Rey also announced plans for an album of “American standards and classics”, in the vein of her recent cover of George Gershwin’s “Summertime”.
