The abrasive track features production from Dylan Brady, one half of 100 gecs, and follows the pair’s previous collaboration on “iPhone”, which was released (alongside visuals directed by 100 gecs) back in August this year. That itself was the follow-up to a collaboration that saw Rico Nasty remix 100 gecs’s “ringtone” alongside Charli XCX and Kero Kero Bonito, for the group’s 2020 remix album 1000 gecs and the Tree of Clues. Alongside “iPhone” – and the subsequently-released “Own It” – “OHFR?” gives a taste of Rico Nasty’s much-anticipated debut album, Nightmare Vacation, which she discussed in an interview with Dazed earlier this year. Yesterday (November 9), she also unveiled the cover art and release date for the record, which is set to arrive December 4. Take a look at the Nightmare Vacation cover, and watch “OHFR?”, below.
