The clip quickly went viral and caught the attention of both the band and the brand – the latter of whom gifted Apodaca with a car and a lifetime’s supply of Ocean Spray. On the band side of things, the video put “Dreams” back in the charts, tripling its sales and doubling its streams in just a week. As a thank you, and in homage to Apodaca, Fleetwood Mac’s members have been recreating the viral moment. First, co-founder Mick Fleetwood shared a video of himself skateboarding while drinking Ocean Spray and – of course – singing along to “Dreams”. Next, singer Stevie Nicks posted a clip of herself singing the track while tying the laces on her roller skates (a bottle of cranberry juice appears in the background). Now, it’s over to singer and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, whose version of the video sees him riding a horse while drinking Ocean Spray. “Made this with my girls this weekend,” he tweeted, along with his TikTok video. The clip currently has one million views. While you’re waiting for final members John McVie and Christie McVie to share their versions of the clip, read Dazed’s recent profile of Stevie Nicks here.
