Kanye West is not happy about TikTok.

Yesterday (August 14), the rapper took to Twitter to share his thoughts on how the app could be somewhat more wholesome. “A vision just came to me... Jesus Tok,” he wrote. (Kanye originally wrote the post in all caps, but we’ve put it into sentence case for clarity.)

The reason he’d like to see a ‘Jesus Tok’ is because of the profane content on the platform. “I was watching Tik Tok with my daughter and as a Christian father I was disturbed by a lot of the content but I completely loved the technology,” he said.

He added that he’d like to collaborate with TikTok on a “monitored version that feels safe for young children and the world in Jesus name amen”.

Kanye West’s daughter, North, is a fan of TikTok, according her mother, Kim Kardashian. “We do lots of TikToks together, and she puts them in drafts,” she recently told Entertainment Tonight. “She’s not allowed to post them, but we have a lot of TikToks.”

So, what exactly was it about TikTok that “disturbed” Kanye so much? Social media users have been trying to find out – check out their responses below.
