Watch King Krule’s horror-inspired video for ‘Comet Face’

The new visuals for the Man Alive! track are directed by CC Wade

King Krule has released new visuals for “Comet Face”, a track off his 2020 album Man Alive!. Sticking with the track’s lyrics, the video centres around Peckham Rye, which is being stalked by a ferocious beast.

Drawing from classic horror films, the video is directed by CC Wade – who also provided the 2018 visuals for “Biscuit Town” – and written by both CC Wade and Krule’s brother, Jack Marshall. And yes, the new video is about as spooky as it sounds, with Krule stumbling about among an eerie cast, and veering off into the dark.

Earlier this year, King Krule also released a London-based video for the Man Alive! song “Alone, Omen 3”. Revisit Dazed’s behind-the-scenes look at the making of the “Alone, Omen 3” video with director Jocelyn Anquetil.
