Directed by the artist and photographer Charlotte Rutherford, the video was shot pretty much entirely in the singer’s house with the help of a greenscreen, as teased in previous posts on Charli XCX’s Instagram. The new, lo-fi, high-energy, video follows another, fan-shot visual for “Forever”, the first track to be released from the album. As with that first song, “Claws” is also accompanied by three separate artworks, designed by artists over Instagram. Other album visuals will apparently be contributed by Paris Hilton (we hope) following a conversation about the collab in a Zoom call streamed live April 22. Watch “Claws” below.
