It’s already been a community-focused process, with a lot of input from fans and artists such as Caroline Polachek – who designed visuals for the first track, “Forever” – but the singer isn’t stopping there. In a Zoom call with fans today (watch below) Paris Hilton herself made a guest appearance, speaking to Charli XCX about how they’re both holding up in quarantine, plus giving some tips on putting quarantine photoshoot looks together. The call also gave the pair a chance to talk about a potential collaboration, with Charli XCX suggesting they could get together to work on some artwork for the how i’m feeling now project. “I don’t know how it would happen,” she says, “but if you’re down that would be so amazing.” “I’m always down for anything for you babe, I love you,” Paris replies, so it definitely looks like something could be in the works. More news about the album’s visuals shared in the call – which also featured guest appearances from Gia Gunn and Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock – is that Charli XCX is currently filming the video for “Claws”. “I’ve literally got a whole green screen set up in my basement,” the singer says. “I’m going to be doing some dancing and making out with my boyfriend.” The track itself will release tomorrow (April 23) at 9am PT – or 5pm UK time – as shared in an Instagram post following the call. Like “Forever” before it, “Claws” will have three lots of official visuals from separate artists, each an interpretation of a single image posted to the singer’s Instagram.
