2020 is a leap year, which means there’s an extra day in February. Does that mean there’s extra music, too? It feels like it. This month we have a bumper playlist consisting of 80(!) tracks, and that’s even after carefully whittling our original choices down.
King Krule and Yves Tumor both dropped killer tracks from their new albums, while newcomers like Rema also continued to wow us with their latest singles. There’s a great track from Pop Smoke’s recently released Meet the Woo 2 mixtape, which illustrates why he was such a talent to watch – it’s heartbreaking to listen back to it now in light of his death.
