Björk announces an orchestral 2020 tour

The artist will showcase acoustic string arrangements of work from across her career

This summer will see a new, orchestral tour from Björk, following on from the Icelandic musician’s massively successful Cornucopia tour last year, which featured theatrical performances in cities across the US and Europe.

The new tour will feature acoustic string arrangements of Björk’s “work so far”, and take place in cities across England, Russia, Finland, France, and Germany.

Earlier this year, Björk also went back over her archives to contribute music to an AI-driven soundscape in the lobby of a New York hotel, Sister City. The “choral archives” are affected by the sky above the hotel, responding to cloud formations and passing birds or planes.

Find the new tour dates below, or – if you can’t make it to a show in person – take a tour behind the scenes of last year’s Cornucopia show, part of Björk’s 2019 Dazed takeover.

Björk 2020 orchestral tour dates:

July 2: Moscow, Russia, Crocus Music Hall

July 6: Helsinki, Finland, Hartwall Arena

July 9: Berlin, Germany, Waldbühne Open Air

July 17: Paris, France, La Seine Musicale

July 20: Paris, France, La Seine Musicale

July 26: Cheshire, UK, Bluedot Festival
