Since the release of his 2018 album 2012-2017, Nicolas Jaar has been keeping busy co-producing FKA twigs’ MAGDALENE and writing for the Weeknd. 

Earlier this week, however, Jaar reactivated his Against All Odds moniker to put out a new mix for NTS Radio, featuring unreleased music and two new tracks, with FKA twigs and avant-garde artist Lydia Lunch. Today sees the EP drop under his alias.

The first, which features Lunch (Jaar’s label Other People Records reissued her 1990 spoken word album back in 2015) is called “Illusions… Of Shameless Abundance”, while the second track “Alucinao” sees Jaar join forces with FKA twigs and Estado Unido.

Lunch re-released her book So Real It Hurts last year, while twigs more recently performed a pole routine at the Grammy awards.
