Stormzy announces a world tour in 2020

Hitting cities in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, and Australasia

Yesterday (November 29), Stormzy unveiled a huge world tour beginning February 7, 2020 and running through to October. The tour will take him across five continents: Europe, Africa, North America, Asia, and Oceania. This will be on the back of Heavy Is The Head, the rapper’s new album, which is due December 13.

In the midst of what’s presumably a busy period putting last touches on the album and organising the tour, Stormzy has also found time to cause a surge in UK voter registration after calling for fans to get involved in the upcoming general election.

He’s also reinforced his backing of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, while calling for Jacob Rees-Mogg to resign earlier this month, over hateful comments about Grenfell.

Tickets for next year’s tour will go on sale at 9am local time on December 6 (unless you’re looking to get into the Dubai show – tickets for that will go on sale December 4). Early access to tickets will be available with a preorder of Heavy Is The Head, though.

See the announcement and full details below.
