In her last video release, “2099”, the PC Music poster girl rode around on jet skis with Troye Sivan in various impractical ways – this time she sings from a suspended car in a nondescript industrial wasteland. Charli also rides on top of a white SUV in the music video, directed by Colin Solal Cardo, who also made the video for Charli’s recent collaboration with Christine and the Queens, “Gone”. “White Mercedes” follows similar motifs of being on the run and has elements of a confessional, self-depreciative love ballad: “Hate myself I really love you,” Charli sings in the chorus. “All I know is I don’t deserve you.” “White Mercedes video is out now!!!” Charli posted to her Instagram. “What do u think angels?????? Link in bio if u haven’t seen it yet!!!!” Watch the full video below: Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday.
