In her last video release, “2099”, the PC Music poster girl rode around on jet skis with Troye Sivan in various impractical ways – this time she sings from a suspended car in a nondescript industrial wasteland. Charli also rides on top of a white SUV in the music video, directed by Colin Solal Cardo, who also made the video for Charli’s recent collaboration with Christine and the Queens, “Gone”. “White Mercedes” follows similar motifs of being on the run and has elements of a confessional, self-depreciative love ballad: “Hate myself I really love you,” Charli sings in the chorus. “All I know is I don’t deserve you.” “White Mercedes video is out now!!!” Charli posted to her Instagram. “What do u think angels?????? Link in bio if u haven’t seen it yet!!!!” Watch the full video below: Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREAn introduction to Awful Records in 5 tracksWhy are MP3 players making a comeback? In pictures: 2hollis shuts down the takt after party in BerlinZeyne is making ‘Arabic alt-pop’ to reclaim her voice5 things that inspired Smerz’s dreamy album, Big City LifeFKA twigs’ albums ranked, from alien to human Alt-pop artist Sassy 009 shares 5 of her offline obsessions15 of the most iconic producer tags of all timeReykjavík’s Alaska1867: ‘You don’t hear rap from this perspective’ Colombian-born Sinego wants to become the Anthony Bourdain of music5 artists speak on the future of ‘Latin Club’Sam Gellaitry is your favourite producer’s favourite producer
