Initially, Kim Kardashian seemed to suggest that – despite rumours of a delay – the album was on track, but now she’s switched to saying that we can expect it on Sunday (which, tbh, is a more appropriate day of the week for such a Christianity-themed release). “Just a final few tweaks to the mixes,” was one message Kim shared in new Instagram stories, along with the slightly ironic-sounding: “Have faith…” Kim has also shared footage of a surprise Sunday Service-type gathering/listening party in Detroit, along with the announcement of similar events in Chicago (tonight) and NYC on Sunday. If the Detroit event is anything to go by, these will all have themed merch. And yes, that means that Jesus is King merch is now available. courtesy of Instagram/@kimkardashian Yet another update to the Jesus is King release is that an Imax film is also on the way, titled Jesus is Lord and slated for October (although, does that really mean anything any more?). courtesy of Instagram/@kimkardashian Again, the album itself is supposed to be coming out on Sunday, but we’ll believe it when we see (or hear) it.
