Speaking to the Times, the “Venice Bitch” singer revealed that she’s “already written parts of” the next album. ”I feel like it probably will be a surprise release sometime within the next 12 or 13 months,” she said. ”I’m really excited right now. I don’t want to take a break.” LDR recently shared a double video for singles “Fuck it I Love You” and ”The Greatest”, and Sublime cover track “Doin Time”, which sees a super-sized Lana wandering through Los Angeles – it’s all very Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. White Hot Fever will be the seventh studio album from Del Rey. While no further details about the album have been revealed, if Del Rey’s latest release is anything to go by, we’re expecting more odes to California love and, after professing her love for Billie Eilish, here’s hoping for some woozy future collabs. Keep it coming, LDR. And if you’re very lucky, you can find the singer promo-ing her album in an ice-cream truck which will roll out “up and down the coast” over Labour Day weekend, from which you can buy popsicles and vinyl.
