If there is, it would be the rapper’s first since 2017’s Flower Boy, which earned him a nomination for best rap album at the 2018 Grammys. The first of the videos (published May 1) is titled ‘_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _’ and features many Tylers looking vacant over a long synth note and a very nice beat, with a snatch of singing at the end (if this is what new music would sound like, we’re in luck). The second clip, ‘_____________’ (May 3) features more rapping, along with Tyler dancing and boxing in a blonde wig on what appears to be the set of a retro chat show. It’s an aesthetic, for sure. The clips have been gaining some high profile attention, too. When the first was posted on Instagram, Tyler, the Creator collaborators A$AP Rocky and Kali Uchis commented “LETS GO!🔥” and “oooooooooooooOoOoOoOooO” respectively. Solange, meanwhile, stoked rumours of a new project, writing: “it’s tiiiiimmmmeeee.” Erykah Badu simply added: “Oh no!” Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREBABYMETAL: The ‘little girls’ who shaped a generation of metal musicThe only tracks you need to hear from October 2025This new short film embodies the spirit of MasqueradesThe UK Music Video Award winners are hereKelly Lee Owens’ guide to a good night outAccorParcels’ Jules Crommelin: ‘This isn’t just a tour, it’s life’ Dazed Mix: Jennifer WaltonBillie Eilish calls out billionaires: ‘No hate, but give your money away’In pictures: KATSEYE get spicy at debut UK showSlew’s dream night out?
