Now, though, they’ve shared the unfortunate news that the next leg of the tour will be put on hold. The Mezzanine XXI tour was supposed to continue with dates in North America and Canada next week, but “due to illness” the shows have been postponed until autumn (or “fall”, same thing, isn’t it?). The announcement was initially made on Facebook with an apology. Of course there was the usual barrage of complaints about cancelled plans etc, alongside the slightly more sensitive hopes that whoever’s ill makes a quick recovery. Hopefully, whoever it is, they’ve not been breathing in too much Mezzanine-encoded spray paint (you never know). Get well soon, Massive Attack! We regret to announce that the upcoming Mezzanine XXI shows in the USA and Canada have been postponed due to illness. The shows will be rescheduled for this fall, with a full announcement to be made on Thursday... https://t.co/YZWGJcilJt— Massive Attack (@MassiveAttackUK) March 8, 2019Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MORE7 of Chase Infiniti’s favourite K-pop tracksMeet The Deep, K-pop’s antihero Jean Paul GaultierJean Paul Gaultier’s iconic Le Male is the gift that keeps on giving‘This is our Nirvana!’: Are Geese Gen Z’s first great rock band?10 of Yung Lean’s best collabs‘We’re like brother and sister’: Yung Lean and Charli xcx in conversationIs art finally getting challenging again? The only tracks you need to hear from November 2025Inside the world of Amore, Spain’s latest rising starLella Fadda is blazing a trail in the Egyptian music sceneThe rise of Sweden’s post-pop undergroundNeda is the singer-songwriter blending Farsi classics with Lily Allen
