See what’s on Troye Sivan’s highlights of 2018 thread

The year he calls ‘the best year of my life’

In a recent tweet, Troye Sivan calls 2018 the best year of his life, and it’s no surprise, really, is it? In the past 12 months, the former Dazed 100 winner starred in the conversion-therapy-themed film Boy Erased (which featured one of his new songs), dropped his second album, Bloom, and teamed up with Charli XCX for her nostalgic single, “1999”.

That’s just a few of Sivan’s accomplishments in 2018 though, as he makes clear in the thread detailing his highlights of the year.

Beginning the list is the (covertly recorded) moment he revealed he would appear on SNL to boyfriend Jacob Bixenman, followed by “flexing w a billboard in Times Square”, releasing the Grant Singer-directed video for “My My My!”, and appearing on the cover of Dazed (ty).

There’s also some more personal moments in the highlights, though, such as getting past an emotional slump in the middle of the year, because life isn’t all about the more glamorous victories.

See the whole list here, and get ready for more of the same next year.
