Oregon-based KBCY reports that supporting acts Nas and Santigold were cut from Hill’s performance in Portland on Wednesday, with no prior warning to fans who had bought tickets expecting to see the full lineup. Afterwards, Brooklyn singer Santigold addressed the cancellation on Twitter, apologising to fans and saying that she had seen a note from Hill’s management that read: “Due to production issues, The Miseducation 20th Anniversary Tour is unable to accommodate Santigold’s performance this evening.” In a later tweet, she also announced the tour organisers’ decision to “reduce the support” for the rest of the tour, resulting in her performances being cut for the remaining days.
