The spacey, minute-long clip features Ryan Gosling and Lykke Li – who reportedly play ex-lovers in the film – as they duet on Bob Marley’s “It Hurts To Be Alone”. It follows another clip shared earlier this week, which involved Patti Smith sharing life advice with Rooney Mara. Song to Song sees Malick take on the Austin music scene, and is the director’s eighth film in over forty years. As well as including a stellar leading cast (Mara, Gosling, Natalie Portman, and Michael Fassbender), it apparently features cameos from a load of musicians – including Smith, Lykke, Iggy Pop, John Lydon and Arcade Fire. Watch the latest clip below via Billboard, or see the film when it hits US cinemas on March 17 (an official UK release date is still yet to be confirmed).
