The trailer for Tyler, the Creator’s documentary is here

The film documents the making of his “Cherry Bomb’ record and features Tyler playing piano, organising an orchestra and hanging with Rocky

Tyler, the Creator, one of music’s most talented, unusual voices is set to release a documentary about the making of his 2015 album “Cherry Bomb”, with the trailer (above) released today.

The Odd Future head honcho – who has long bewildered critics and inspired a generation of kids – is shown in his element, taking full creative control over the album-making process, singing lines to an orchestra, working out chords on a piano and giving instructions to a saxophonist. The 45-minute film, made by production crew Illegal Civilization, is set to come out in January 2017 and features a stellar cast of hip hop’s biggest names, including Kanye West, Pharrell and A$AP Rocky.

Judging by the trailer, it looks set to be a fascinating insight into the artist’s methods and mind.
