The track is taken from the group’s third studio album, I See You, and is their first release in over three years. The full 10-track LP is set to be released on January 13. It’s been described by the group’s label as a “more outward-looking, open and expansive” album, and will apparently represent “a new era for the London trio”. “On Hold” is the first track to be released from the album, and samples Hall & Oates’ “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)” from 1981.
