Devised by the Poetry Society and Southbank Centre, the poems will be televised instead of the usual video intros before each scheduled programme on the British TV channel, according to the Guardian. The video for the singer’s “The Wheel”, taken from The Hope Six Demolition Project, explores her work with director Seamus Murphy, looking at the refugee crisis, war and conflict across the world. It documented her trips across eastern European ex-Serbian state Kosovo during 2011 and 2015. During her set at Glastonbury this year, PJ stopped mid-performance to recite John Donne’s “No Man is an Island”, commenting on the then recent Brexit vote.
