Sampha’s rise from vocal collaborator with the likes of Kanye West, Drake and Frank Ocean to a legitimately brilliant solo artist in his own right continued with his latest single “Blood on Me”. Now, that track has been given a very odd new music video.

The video takes place alternately in a dog track and in a field. At one point, Sampha sits in a car, the car is in a tree, and the car falls from the tree. And then Sampha becomes the tree.

The video follows recent single “Timmy’s Prayer”, and is taken from Sampha’s long-awaited debut album Process, due out next year.
