Marketed as a free class for sharing ideas, it also doubled up as a casting call; with a handful of attendees getting the chance to perform in the avant-pop auteur’s latest stage show. “It’s a safe space,” twigs explained at the time. “When times are really hard like they are now, when there’s so much pain… that’s when the art flourishes.” Now, the “Good To Love” singer seems to bringing a similar kind of thing to London. According to a new post shared on her social media accounts last night, twigs is looking for performers “of all genres” to take part in a “major” project in the capital. While details are scarce at the moment, it’s presumed this isn’t limited to just dancers. “Looking for performers of all genres to audition for a project I'm making in London this october,” read the call. “No talent or style is too extreme. All performers must be based or be able to work in the UK.” We’ve reached out to twigs’ representatives for more information.
