Music / NewsListen to leaked Lana Del Rey track ‘Super Movie’It might be an early draft of another unreleased and previously leaked track, recorded during her Honeymoon sessionsShareLink copied ✔️July 26, 2016MusicNewsTextAnna Cafolla An unreleased and previously unheard Lana Del Rey track has found its way online. Speculation says it was possibly recorded during her Honeymoon album sessions in 2015, as NME reports, but “Super Movie” may be an early version of “On Our Way”, another unreleased track that leaked back in 2011. The two songs share similar lyrics and chorus structure. “Spin me round kiss me in your Chevrolet / I love you more with each and everyday”, Del Rey sings on both choruses. It’s a typically dreamy, stripped-back affair with a southern lilt, referencing Super 8 movies: "Drop me off at the Copacabana / You my one true love, aren't you man, ah? / I'm your little super 8 movie / You know I'm in love with ya truly". Earlier this month, the video for Del Rey's “Honeymoon” leaked onto YouTube. It had been previously rejected because “nothing really happened in it”. Since sharing a picture of herself in the studio in March, it’s thought that the singer has been working on her fifth album. She’s also supposedly working with Justin Parker, a writer who worked alongside her with her first breakout hit “Video Games” in 2012.
