Drake’s reputation as a fully functioning meme-machine is already well established. After setting social media alight with his suspiciously bad video for “Hotline Bling” last October, the Canadian rapper has left people divided over his levels of awareness. Could Drake – real name Aubrey Graham – actually be a bonafide marketing mastermind? Or is he just an unassuming guy who enjoys a bit of dad dancing?
Given all commotion that’s surrounding his new album VIEWS, there seems to be more of a case for the former. The record has already spawned countless memes for its photoshopped front cover, which features a tiny image of the rapper on top of Toronto’s CN Tower. It’s so popular, in fact, that it’s now spawned its own generator: allowing anyone to add a tiny champagne papi to a photo of their choosing.
