Photographed by Yeongjun Kim, the leader of K-Pop group 2NE1 stars on two separate covers, wearing Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci in both. As well as CL, the magazine’s new issue features appearances from the likes of Kendall Jenner, Kiernan Shipka and Willow Smith. This announcement comes just days after images of Alexander Wang’s SS16 campaign were released, where CL stars alongside fellow musicians Alice Glass and Travi$ Scott, and former Dazed cover girls Binx Walton and Molly Bair. Having enjoyed a successful solo career with the banging Teddy-produced track “Hello Bitches” and a global tour following for her work with supergroup 2NE1, CL has succeeding in captivating the fashion world. Jeremy Scott touts her as his seminal muse and collaborator, and she’s become a fashion week fixture, sitting front row at Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein, Givenchy and Hood By Air. In the Autumn/Winter 2015 issue of Dazed, CL told us: “Normally people think of Asian women as timid, but I think I’m very strong.” This attitude permeates these newly-released covers, so we’ve no doubt the self-dubbed “Baddest Female” will continue to kill it.
