The last 30 days have been full of standout moments in music: FKA twigs changed the game with her mind-blowing visual EP M3LL155X, Grace Jones hula-hooped her way around our hearts, and “Miley, what’s good?” became the most overused but highly addictive phrase thanks to this years beef-filled VMAs. There were plenty of moments that swam a little more under the radar though, from Angel Haze’s ruthless assault on the senses via “Babe Ruthless” to a SOPHIE-produced banger from Le1f and a punk-as-fuck comeback from our fave, Mykki Blanco. And then there’s those honey-dunked, wavy flavours from dream team Tinashe and Young Thug, which we managed to sneak into the playlist last minute. Crank it up!
