They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but hell really hath no fury like the four women of Manchester band PINS scorned. Dressed head-to-toe in Saint Laurent and spewing glitter to boot, the four-piece and their mates go off like never before in their “Too Little Too Late” video, premiering below. The song – taken from thir upcoming album on Bella Union – is a rager, with Faith Vern deadpanning burns like “you looked so good at first, when I didn't know your name” as her bandmates Lois Macdonald, Anna Donigan and Sophie Galpin build a steady hurricane of guitars and fuzz around her. See them scream obscenities to camera in slow motion below, and keep reading for the scoop on their new album Wild Nights.

Hi PINS! Tell us about this song; What are you all so angry about?

Faith: I wrote the lyrics and Lois wrote the music. I don't want to air our dirty laundry so i won't divulge any more, all I will say is I still get a lump in my throat when I sing the song.

Lois: Everyone has a situation where they've thought, ‘enough's enough!’ For me that's what this song is about, the point you get to where you decide you can't be bothered anymore.

What or who would you most like to stick a middle finger up to right now?

Lois: We're more about getting your anger out when you need to, then moving on. So probably loads of people would get the finger, then we'd all go for a drink 10 minutes later.

What was this video shoot like?

Faith: We came up with the slow motion swearing idea when we had been drinking. In the sober light of day the idea seemed like a keeper, so we asked our friends Sarah Jenny Johnson and Olivier Richomme to direct it. It was like a mass therapy session, everyone was pumped! Everyone was raging about different things, relationships, their jobs, their friends...

Tell us all about your new album - what can we expect? Is this a good indication of what's to come?

Faith: We started it in Manchester and finished it in Joshua Tree, it was a pilgrimage. We worked with Dave Catching and Hayden Scott at Rancho De La Luna. For me, going there and making a record really was a dream come true, I can't even explain, it was almost spiritual! I'm not religious but I had an epiphany.
