It's a familiar enough situation: the lights have come up in the club but everybody still wants to keep going. Well, now there's an app to simplify the painful process of finding somewhere to go on to: KickOn, which its Australian creators bill as "Tinder for parties and events".

As Mixmag explain, it works pretty much exactly like Tinder. You swipe through various parties with information listed such as time, date, location and the number of people attending. Prospective gatecrashers have to ask an invite, so event organisers can check out their profile and approve their request. There's even a QR code function that allows you to monitor who turns up at the door.

KickOn developers are also working on weekly rankings which lists the MVP (as in, Most Valuable Partier) in every university, state and country. The app is currently available only in Australia and the US.

Judging from the website, KickOn is hoping to attract a big uni crowd – one of the jobs listed on the site is for a "modern day Van Wilder" college party liason (whatever that means). So maybe hold off on downloading it until you're sure you won't turn up at a freshers week party at 6am, gurning your tits off.
