MusicNewsThom Yorke teases new work with mysterious white vinylIs it a new Radiohead album? Another Atoms for Peace record? Nobody knowsShareLink copied ✔️September 22, 2014MusicNewsTextThomas Gorton Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich have both posted photos on Tumblr of a mysterious white vinyl. This means one of three things in order of varying excitement levels: either Radiohead have made a new record, Atoms For Peace have made a new record, or Thom Yorke has made a new record. Either way, Radiohead fans are losing their shit – especially since the artwork in the background of the picture looks suspiciously like the handiwork of Radiohead collaborator Stanley Donwood, who designed the album cover for Hail to the Thief. So what's going on? Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood revealed in July that he had been exchanging song ideas with Thom Yorke over email and said he hoped to get back into the studio in September, which FYI, is right now. The band also recently updated their Polyfauna app with new snippets of music and visuals, which hints at a follow-up to their last album, 2011's King Of Limbs. Our guess? Thom Yorke has taken a leaf out of Aphex Twin's book and he's going to flog a test pressing of the new Radiohead album for an astronomical amount on Discogs.Watch the music video for "Ingenue" off Atoms For Peace album Amok: Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREBloodz Boi: The humble godfather of Chinese underground rapA rare interview with POiSON GiRL FRiEND, dream pop’s future seerNigeria’s Blaqbonez is rapping to ‘beat his high score’Inside Erika de Casier’s shimmering R&B universe7 essential albums by the SoulquariansIs AI really the future of music? The KPop Demon Hunters directors on fan theories and a potential sequelplaybody: The club night bringing connection back to the dancefloorAn interview with IC3PEAK, the band Putin couldn’t silenceFrost Children answer the dA-Zed quizThe 5 best features from PinkPantheress’ new remix albumMoses Ideka is making pagan synth-folk from the heart of south London
