Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington teased fans on Twitter with a cryptic message announcing a "last show" and advising them that "this is the end, for now". No reasons have been given for the breakup. darkside is coming to an end, for now. we'll be playing our last show in brooklyn on sept 12 http://t.co/IDNrgI80vjpic.twitter.com/OpdZszAR4E— DARKSIDE (@DarksideUSA) August 17, 2014 The prog-electronica duo released their first EP on Jaar's now defunct Clown and Sunset label back in 2011 and followed it up in 2013 with their first LP, Psychic, a record that received widespread critical acclaim. Their last show for the forseeable future will be on September 12 at the Masonic Temple in Brooklyn. Along with their announcement that they're calling it a day, Darkside also posted two tracks that didn't quite make the cut on Psychic.
